PoSeT-G
Philosophy of Set Theory Group
About PoSeT
PoSeT is an informal group run by doctoral students for anyone interested in the philosophy of set theory, with a special focus on other graduate students. The aim of the group is to foster the interaction between philosophers and set-theorists and to bring the philosophical study of set theory closer to advanced topics in the field.
PoSeT Activities
Anyone is open to participate in the activities of the group and help with the organization. The idea is to use this as a gathering space for academics interested in the philosophy of set theory. The main activities of the group include, but are not limited to:
ForcingFest: (hopefully) our yearly live event to meet each other in person and learn more about topics in advanced set-theory;
Online Events: separate seminars for both for graduate students and advanced scholars to present their research in a friendly and informal envirnoment (likely to start from Fall 2024) and hopefully masterclasses to teach philosophers topics in advanced set theory;
Reading Groups: feel free to use this as a gathering platform to organize and advertise reading groups, the more the better!
